2. Website operation
STRATO GmbH hosts this website and processes technical data such as IP address, request time, page address and browser information to operate and protect it (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). Images and fonts are served locally. We embed no Google Maps, advertising or analytics trackers. The protected administration uses a necessary session cookie. Temporary pseudonymous request counters help prevent abuse.
3. Requests and invoices
Contact, billing, rental, delivery and optional hotel information is used to process your request and perform the contract (Article 6(1)(b)); legal accounting duties also apply (Article 6(1)(c)). Hotels receive only information required for the requested handover. Do not enter diagnoses or health information in the form. We discuss equipment suitability personally.
4. Storage, email and accounting
Requests are stored in a protected database at STRATO. STRATO also delivers service emails and processes recipients and message contents. Failed messages stay in a protected delivery queue for retry. We issue invoices in Lexware Office (Haufe-Lexware GmbH & Co. KG). This website does not automatically transfer data there; our team transfers the required billing details.
5. WhatsApp and PayPal
WhatsApp opens only after you follow its external link. Optional consent lets us initiate WhatsApp contact and may be withdrawn prospectively (Article 6(1)(a)); email and phone remain alternatives. Once our PayPal connection is configured and your offer approved, you may choose PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., Luxembourg. The amount and booking reference are sent for payment processing (Article 6(1)(b)); we never receive your PayPal password.
6. Recipients and international processing
Only staff and service providers needed to process your request receive access. International providers may process data outside the EU/EEA. Required processing agreements and transfer safeguards under GDPR Articles 44 onward must be established before activating these services; contact us for the applicable safeguards. We do not share data for advertising.
7. Retention and rights
Data is retained as required for enquiries, contracts, legal accounting duties and necessary legal claims, then deleted. Subject to GDPR conditions you have rights of access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and may withdraw consent. You may complain to a supervisory authority, including Berlin’s Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information. We make no automated booking decisions or profiling decisions.
8. Language and external websites
The language is encoded in the page address. Form data is not stored in the browser for advertising. External services, including transport operators, sights, WhatsApp and PayPal, open only after your click and have their own privacy notices.
